Open enrollment for AML RightSource/Gabriel Partners’ 2018 Flexible Spending Account plan is now through February 23, 2018.  If you want to participate in the 2018 plan year, you must enroll during this time.  If you are not already familiar with the FSA plan and how it works, use the links to the right  to learn about the plan.

**Note that the 2018 Medical and Dependent Care FSA plan year will run from March 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018** Make your election based on expenses you anticipate to incur during this 10-month period.  Due to the short plan year, the plan maximum is prorated to $1,000 for the Medical FSA and $4,166.60 for Dependent Care.

Use-it or Roll-Over $500. The Treasury Department’s ruling on October 31, 2013 modifies the “use-it-or-lose-it” provision to allow the rollover of up to $500 of unused Health FSA funds to the next plan year. This means that the risk of forfeiting your FSA healthcare contributions is reduced! Plus, the FSA rollover provision eliminates the mad scramble at the end of the plan year to spend remaining Health FSA funds. Now is the perfect time to take a closer look at a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and take advantage of increased tax savings!

FSA/QTA Debit Card: Use the card to pay for eligible parking, transit, dependent care, and healthcare expenses at eligible merchants. Keep in mind that qualified transit expenses can be paid only with your FSA debit card. The debit card greatly reduces the number of claims that you must submit for reimbursement! However, keep your healthcare receipts as some debit card transactions will require that you submit documentation of the card swipe to BASIC NEO. It is important that you read the FSA Debit Card Guidelines and the Debit Card Brochure on the right sidebar to understand how the card program works.

You may make changes to your election any time up to the deadline date noted above. Make the changes you want and resubmit your election. Your prior election will be overwritten.
