Part one of a two part Compliance Series. During this webinar ERISA expert, Mary Bauman, will cover participant disclosure requirements for health and welfare benefits plans. What employers need to do to comply as well as what type of information needs to be included, to whom and when for: • Summary Plan Description (SPD)
• Summary of Material Modification (SMM)
• Summary Annual Report (SAR)
• And Model Notices
Mary will present for 60 minutes regarding the above topic. The remainder of the time will be devoted to Q&A and information regarding BASIC ERISA Essentials. Part two of our two part Compliance Series will cover other ongoing compliance requirements for health and welfare benefit plans, including the 5500, Non-Discrimination testing and PCORI fee.
